NEW FACEBOOK FEATURE WILL CONNECT YOU WITH YOUR "SECRET CRUSH"

On Tuesday (30 April), Facebook announced it is currently working on a new “secret crushes” feature which will romantically connect friends on the platform.

The feature was revealed by Facebook’s co-founder Mark Zuckerberg at the company’s annual conference in California.

Secret Crush will allow Facebook daters to select up to nine friends they like on the down-low and unlike other dating apps where you have to show up in a browsing queue, the feature will notify your crush automatically with a message which reads “a friend added you as a secret crush”.

Your identity will only be revealed if the feeling's mutual and your crush selects you.

The feature is currently available in Columbia, Thailand, Canada, Argentina and Mexico but will expand to the Philippines, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, Laos, Brazil, Peru, Chile, Bolivia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Uruguay, Guyana and Suriname later today.
